The recent Paris attacks against the satirical publication Charlie Hebdo brought out some of the most incredible stories these past few weeks. For example, the Turkish President, Recip Tayyip weighed in on alleged Muslim terrorism.
According to an article carried by Fox reporter Paul Alster, just last week, Erdogan’s told reporters that Muslims have “never taken part in terrorist massacres” and appeared to blame the West for the recent Islamist attacks in Paris.”
“As Muslims, we’ve never taken part in terrorist massacres,” he said.
“Behind these lie racism, hate speech, and Islamophobia. French citizens carry out such a massacre, and Muslims pay the price. The West’s hypocrisy is obvious,” Erdogan said. Here’s the full text of that article:
I guess the recent Japanese reporter who lost his head to sword-wielding Jihadists may have another opinion…oh wait – he’s got no head and can’t speak for himself!
Every time I see one of these stories I am stunned by the world’s naivety. That anyone believes you can negotiate any kind of settlement with terror organizations such as Al Qaida, Boko Haram, ISIS, Hamas, or any of their ilk, leaves me to think that such characters like the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, or the Tooth Fairy may actually be real.
Maybe I’ll check it out at Easter, Christmas, or when I have my next wisdom tooth pulled.
These organizations want peace in same way that an NFL offensive lineman expects his defensive counterpart to play flag football with him—you know- let’s play nice with no contact.
I just had to pull out a Super Bowl reference this week. Now, back to work.
In fact, since I just mentioned Al Qaida and its counterparts, I ran across another article that just knocked me over. And I don’t knock over very easily these days.
In short the article, also published by AFP, observed that Hamas, Palestinian foreign minister Riyad al-Malki, all condemned the Paris attacks.
“A statement in French said Hamas “condemns the attack against Charlie Hebdo magazine and insists on the fact that differences of opinion and thought cannot justify murder.”
Yeah, good ol’ Hamas, a real group of Boy Scouts and choirboys, if you ever saw one…I simply refuse to believe it. In fact, when Yahoo prints anything like this, you know something must be up! Well, maybe Hamas is turning over a new leaf.
I kept waiting for the rim shot, but it never came.
Maybe the Tooth Fairly will leave me a Starbucks card under the pillow.

Last but not least, there is growing concern of a mass Jewish exodus from France, and according to some, from all of Europe.
However, I won’t comment further, but I will be back soon with an article on this one. The cauldron that is the Middle East, is just getting warmed up.
